Put Riverbend on your phone

You can install theriverbend.app straight from your browser. You get the icon on your home screen, it opens full screen with no address bar across the top, and it sits next to your other apps. That is the whole thing people mean when they ask for an app, and it takes about fifteen seconds.

There is nothing to download and nothing to keep updated. It is the same site you are reading now, so whatever the board publishes is there the moment they publish it.

iPhone and iPad

Use Safari. Other browsers hide this in different places.

  1. 1Open theriverbend.app in Safari.
  2. 2Tap the share button , the square with an arrow coming out of the top. It is at the bottom of the screen on an iPhone and at the top on an iPad.
  3. 3Scroll down that list and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4Tap Add in the top right corner.
Android phone

These are the steps in Chrome, and Samsung Internet is close to the same.

  1. 1Open theriverbend.app in Chrome.
  2. 2Tap the menu , the three dots in the top right corner.
  3. 3Tap Install app, or Add to Home screen if that is what your phone calls it.
  4. 4Tap Install to confirm.
Windows or Mac computer

Chrome or Edge. In Safari on a Mac it is the File menu, then Add to Dock.

  1. 1Open theriverbend.app in Chrome or Edge.
  2. 2Look at the right end of the address bar for the install button , a small screen with an arrow pointing into it, and click it. If it is not there, open the menu and look for Install page as app, or Apps and then Install this site as an app in Edge.
  3. 3Click Install. Riverbend opens in its own window from then on.
